1997 Grady-White Marlin 300

This 1997 Grady-White Marlin 300 is a 30-foot express cruiser powered by twin Suzuki 300AP outboards with 576 hours. The boat has been substantially upgraded over recent years, with the engines themselves installed in 2018 and running under 575 hours.

The electronics suite is comprehensive and modern. Paired Garmin multifunction displays (1242xsv and 7608xsv) work with a GMR 24xHD radar, GXM-53 GPS with Sirius, and AirMar B175M 1 kW chirp transducer. Navigation and autopilot rely on a Garmin Reactor 40 with smart pump and GHC20 display. Dual ICOM VHF radios (IC-M506 with AIS and IC-M412) provide communication. A Garmin GSM-10 network hub ties the system together.

The onboard systems reflect recent investment. The cabin features LED lighting throughout—Lumitec Caprera spreader lights, RGBW seablaze underwater lights, helm and gunnel lighting, plus a wireless remote spotlight. Audio includes a Fusion UD-750 head unit, JL Audio M700/5 amplifier, four M3-770x cockpit speakers, and 12-inch subwoofer. Power distribution comes from a ProNautic 1230P charger and Pro Mariner 2000MS inverter installed in 2023. The transom was replaced in 2021, the steering system rebuilt with SeaStar hydraulics and new hoses, and the electric head completely rebuilt with new macerator and hoses. A Lewmar Pro Fish 1000 windlass handles ground tackle. Cabin and helm soft goods are new, the cabin hatch and livewell hatch are recent, and an Isotherm Cruise 49 AC/DC refrigerator handles cooling. House and engine batteries are new as of 2024, and a Shurflo washdown pump was installed the same year. All through-hulls have been upgraded to stainless steel or bronze.
