This 1997 Hyatt 55 is a fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines, delivering a cruising speed of 12 knots. The boat spans 55 feet with a 16-foot beam, built for comfortable extended cruising.

The interior accommodates three cabins and two heads. The galley features a full-size refrigerator, two-burner stove, microwave, toaster, and oven with substantial storage. A U-shaped dining area has a table that folds out and adjusts vertically. The wheelhouse offers large wraparound bench seating with cushions and houses a Garmin autopilot. Eisenglass curtains enclose both the wheelhouse and aft deck. The spacious aft deck includes a Gaggeneau oven and a couch that converts to a double bed.

Engine hours are 1,467 on the port engine and 676 on the starboard. A recent haul-out in April 2023 included new antifouling paint and new cutlass bearings. The boat carries five air conditioning systems, including upper helm cooling. Electronics include a Garmin 512 GPS, two VHF radios, a stereo system, and a Garmin autopilot. The Muir anchor winch was replaced in 2020. Four bilge pumps provide redundancy. The engine room houses two generators (9kW aft and 21kW main), a 20-gallon-per-hour watermaker, battery charger, electric panel, water heater, and fuel filters. The bow thruster requires repair. A dinghy davit and deck space accommodate a small tender.
