1997 Nimble Kodiak Pilothouse Motor Sailor

The Nimble Kodiak 26 is a trailerable motor-sailer built in fiberglass with a pilothouse design suited for comfortable cruising on lakes, canals, and coastal waters. At 26 feet in length with an 8.5-foot beam and 2-foot-10-inch draft, the boat combines a Yanmar 18-horsepower diesel inboard engine with traditional tanbark sails in good condition. Hydraulic steering and a mast-mounted VHF antenna support easy handling.

Below, the cabin includes an AC/DC refrigerator, an alcohol and electric cooktop stove, and a marine head with pressure water system. A solar-powered deck vent provides ventilation. Dual compasses are mounted inside the cabin and in the cockpit for navigation reference.

The electronics suite comprises a Garmin GPS chartplotter, depth finder, and VHF radio. Standard equipment includes a Fortress anchor with dedicated line and chain, cockpit shower, four boat fenders, a 30-amp shore power cord, and all required U.S. Coast Guard safety gear. Matching sail covers protect the sails when not in use.

The boat is sold with a Performance custom trailer, enabling straightforward transport and trailering capability. The tanbark sails and overall boat show good maintenance.
