1997 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer

This 50-foot Sea Ray 500 Sundancer is powered by twin Caterpillar 3196 diesel engines, each producing 600 horsepower. Both engines have been overhauled, with the port engine at 2,955 total hours and 1,850 hours since overhaul, and the starboard at 2,957 total hours and 1,852 hours since overhaul. The yacht cruises comfortably at 22 knots and reaches a top speed of 28 knots.

The accommodations include two cabins and two heads. The master stateroom was redesigned and fitted with a custom Zeno mattress installed in 2020. The cockpit has been extensively updated with redesigned and recovered seating, a custom teak table, and a Fusion entertainment center with four JL Marine speakers. The companionway door was rebuilt in teak, and climate control—air conditioning and heat—was added to the helm area, separated from the cockpit by a clear vinyl curtain.

Recent maintenance includes new batteries installed in 2025, and a haul-out in March 2024 for fresh bottom paint and hull waxing.
