1997 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer

The 1997 Sea Ray 500 Sundancer is a 50-foot cruiser built around entertaining and comfort. Twin Detroit Diesel 6V92 engines provide 1,100 horsepower combined, with a cruising speed of 18 knots and maximum speed of 26 knots. The boat features the characteristic wide beam and open layout typical of the Sundancer line, designed to facilitate socializing throughout the spaces.

The interior comprises two staterooms and two full heads. The forward master suite includes a queen island berth with ensuite, while the guest cabin features bunk berths. The galley is fully equipped, and the boat includes a European-style washer/dryer, central vacuum system, climate control, and generous storage throughout. Rich cherry wood finishes the salon and staterooms. A cockpit wet bar and refrigerator serve the outdoor entertaining areas, while large bow sunpads and a wide swim platform offer relaxation and water access. New SeaDek marine flooring has been installed on outdoor surfaces.

Recent work includes a new Lewmar bow thruster, upgraded stereo system with premium speakers inside and out, and a Westerbeke generator with only 200 hours of operation. The twin diesels are reported to have low hours and have been professionally maintained. Annual professional bottom paint has been applied.
