1997 Sea Ray 580 Super Sun Sport

The Sea Ray 580 Super Sun Sport is a 58-foot fiberglass express cruiser built on a 15.75-foot beam. Twin Caterpillar 3408-800 diesel engines produce 800 horsepower each and have logged approximately 1700 hours of professional maintenance. The boat is equipped with a diesel genset (16.8 hours), Lewmar bow thruster, trim tabs, and a hydraulic swim platform with concealed ladder. A dinghy garage and davits are integrated into the design.

Below deck, the yacht offers two staterooms and two full heads with circular shower enclosures and Lexan doors. The guest stateroom features a walk-around queen bed. The main cabin includes European burled wood cabinetry, ultraleather settee, solid surface countertops, and custom carpet with snap-in protectors. A central vacuum system, Splendide washer/dryer combo, and full galley with built-in refrigerator/freezer, three-burner ceramic cooktop, food processor, and Breville microwave/air fryer are installed. Climate control includes air conditioning and heating throughout the interior and cockpit.

The cockpit and entertainment spaces are well appointed with a custom live-edge U-shaped table, credenza with ice maker, and SeaDek marine flooring. Canvas protection includes a full camper canopy with Bimini top and polycarbonate side windows, all recently replaced. Electronics comprise Raymarine E-80 GPS chartplotter, Tridata digital helm display, Raytheon Raypilot 650 autopilot, Garmin GPSmap 640 plotter, Standard Horizon VHF/DSC radio, and remote spotlight. An all-chain windlass with bow and helm controls completes the specification.

Recent upgrades include new canvas, SeaDek flooring throughout, stereo system, and sun pads. The boat has been professionally maintained and remains ready for extended cruising.
