The 1997 Sea Ray Sundancer 400 is a 40-foot express cruiser built around genuine cruising comfort. Twin 7.4-liter MerCruiser engines deliver reliable performance with strong cruising capability and manageable fuel efficiency. The boat carries a wide 13.83-foot beam that provides the interior volume and stability of a much larger yacht while retaining the handling and efficiency of a true 40-footer.
Below deck, two separate cabins offer complete privacy: a forward master stateroom and an aft guest stateroom, each with its own enclosed head. The galley is well equipped with a three-burner stovetop, integrated blender, microwave, and Norcold refrigerator with freezer. A Westerbeke generator provides independent power, while two reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating units handle climate control. Additional conveniences include a cockpit ice maker and a windlass with foot controls.
Electronics are comprehensive: autopilot, radar, chartplotter, depth sounder, and speed log. The canvas package is new black Sunbrella material, and the interior features a white package throughout. The twin MerCruiser engines show 1,300 original hours, and the Westerbeke generator has 975 hours. The boat has been recently buffed and polished.
