The Seawind 1000 is a 33-foot fiberglass catamaran built with flared hulls and foam core construction for strength and buoyancy. Twin 9.9 hp Yamaha engines power the boat, which was designed to sail flat and handle variable coastal conditions. The shallow draft and open bridgedeck design create efficient, versatile performance suited to cruising and coastal exploration.
The boat features a four-cabin, one-head layout with a hardtop design. The bridgedeck connects the salon and cockpit into one continuous social space, supporting both entertaining and short-handed operation. The design prioritizes usable living and entertaining areas across the beam.
Recent upgrades include new Precision sails (main and headsail, 2024), a new Raymarine navigation system, and a complete modern electrical installation with LiFePo4 batteries and solar panels (both 2025). A custom cockpit enclosure was added in 2025. The engines logged 463 hours as of 2022 and have been maintained throughout their service life. A new canvas package was installed in 2025.
