A 1997 Sensation Yachts custom sailing yacht measuring 146 feet with a beam of nearly 30 feet. Designed by Philippe Briand and built in composite, this yacht combines high-performance racing capabilities with luxury cruising accommodations. The carbon ketch rig and optimized hull deliver strong performance across varying wind conditions, achieving 12.5 knots upwind in 12 knots of true wind and 17 knots on a reach in 14 knots of wind.

The hull employs a carbon-kevlar sandwich construction that provides superior strength and rigidity compared to aluminum while significantly reducing overall weight. A single Caterpillar diesel engine of 600 horsepower supports the sailing rig, with cruising speeds around 11.7 knots and a maximum speed of 14.8 knots.

Interior design by John Munford reflects Edwardian styling combined with contemporary finish standards. The boat provides seven cabins and fourteen heads for guest and crew accommodation. The generous sail plan and lightweight construction deliver both speed for passage-making and the stability needed for extended cruising offshore.
