1997 Viking 58 Convertible

This 1997 Viking 58 Convertible is powered by twin MAN 1200 hp diesel engines, delivering a cruising speed of 27 knots and a maximum speed of 34 knots. The fiberglass hull measures 58 feet in length with an 18-foot beam, accommodating three cabins and three heads. The boat is equipped with dual Onan generators—a 20 kW and 15 kW unit, each with sound shielding—along with a custom aluminum tuna tower topped by a fiberglass flybridge hardtop and buggy top.

Electronics have been substantially updated as of 2024 and include dual Garmin 8125 multifunction displays, a Furuno TZT 9-inch MFD, a Garmin 72-mile 6 kW open array radar, and a Furuno FCV1150 bottom machine. Navigation and safety equipment comprises a Simrad AP70 autopilot, dual Garmin VHF radios, and airmar transducers. Additional features include a Sea Recover water maker, an Eskimo ice machine that dumps into a seven-foot fishbox, and triple spreader outriggers with a center rigger installed in 2022.

Interior updates completed in 2023 and 2024 include new synthetic teak sole flooring in the salon and galley, new carpeting throughout the remainder of the interior, refreshed soft goods and upholstery on both settees and dinette, and a three-sided custom EZ2CY flybridge enclosure. The salon's port and starboard frameless hull-side windows were professionally pulled and rebedded in 2023.

Recent mechanical service performed in 2024 and 2025 includes new fuel injectors on both main engines, rebuilt transmission couplers, adjusted valves, a rebuilt port engine water pump, full cooling system service on both engines, sonic cleaning of oil coolers and gear coolers with new gaskets, and cleaning of both generator cooling systems.
