1997 Wellcraft 302 Scarab Sport

This 1997 Wellcraft 302 Scarab Sport is a 29-foot center console powered by twin Mercury Optimax engines producing 450 hp combined. The boat reaches a top speed of 65 knots and cruises at 45 knots, making it well-suited for offshore work and recreational running. It draws 8 feet across the beam and sits on a fiberglass hull.

The engines were replaced in 2005 and have logged 500 hours of use with annual service completed. Both engines start, shift, and run without issue. The boat carries a 190-gallon fuel tank and is fitted with Bennett trim tabs for handling adjustments at speed.

Navigation and electronics include a SIMRAD NSS12 Evo 2 chartplotter with integrated depth finder, autopilot, and radar. An updated Fusion stereo system with subwoofer and six speakers provides entertainment. The boat features underwater, spreader, courtesy, livewell, and navigation lights. Mercury SmartCraft gauges provide engine monitoring.

An aluminum Owens & Sons heavy-duty tandem axle trailer is included with the boat. The hull was freshly detailed in April 2026.
