1997 Wellcraft Eclipse

This 1997 Wellcraft Eclipse is a 24-foot fiberglass bowrider built around a deep-V hull designed to handle chop and larger water conditions typical of boats this size. The boat is powered by a single Volvo Penta 5.7-liter V8 gasoline engine delivering 280 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 25 knots. The combination of reliable power and proven hull design makes it suitable for cruising, watersports, and day trips.

The layout centers on open social seating in the bow with the addition of a cuddy cabin for shelter and convenience. A swim platform with boarding ladder serves the water activities, and the boat features a freshwater tank system for onboard water supply. Storage is ample throughout the layout.

Standard equipment includes a Volvo Penta V8 I/O stern drive, marine VHF radio, stereo, full instrumentation, and a bimini top with canvas for weather protection and full enclosure. A saltwater flush kit was added for proper engine maintenance after the boat relocated to saltwater use two years ago. The boat spent its first years in midwest freshwater with winter indoor storage.

An included Yacht Club trailer, approximately 4 years old, is equipped for towing and was used to transport the boat to Florida two years ago. The combination of trailerable size, simple layout, and straightforward systems supports easy launching, docking, and operation.
