The Bayliner 4085 Avanti is a 40-foot express cruiser with a 13.5-foot beam, built during the premium Avanti production run of the late 1990s. Twin Cummins diesel engines power the boat, supported by a diesel generator for extended cruising. A bow thruster with sideshift capability aids maneuverability in tight spaces.
The cockpit spans the aft deck with a double-wide helm seat to starboard offering good sightlines, a circular settee aft, and a full wet bar to port. Forward, the sun deck includes pads and cup holders. Entry to the interior is via a port-side companionway leading to a mid-cabin layout with a galley to starboard and a convertible U-shaped lounge to port. Two full staterooms—one forward and one aft—provide sleeping quarters, with the aft cabin featuring a small sofa and partial headroom at its entrance.
The boat has new upholstery and a new top, refreshing its appearance. Electronics have been upgraded with NMEA integration for navigation and connectivity. The interior has been maintained in good condition through indoor storage.
