About This Yacht
The 1998 Boston Whaler 23 Conquest is a center console cruiser built on the company's Accutrack hull design, which pairs a deep-V entry with strategically placed chines for a smooth, dry ride. The single 150-horsepower engine powers a fiberglass boat measuring 22.58 feet in length with an 8.50-foot beam. The hull incorporates Boston Whaler's signature reverse chine and forward spray rail to redirect water beneath the hull, improving steering and safety in following seas.
The boat features a lockable cuddy cabin with a V-berth and space for a portable or plumbed head. The raised-deck bow includes a heavy-duty stainless steel bow rail for safe access. The cockpit layout includes adjustable helm and companion pedestal seats, aft-facing seats for rigging or observation, and a stern seat that folds flush to the transom. An all-fiberglass self-bailing cockpit minimizes maintenance requirements.
Storage options include a compartment beneath the cabin berth, under-gunnel rod racks on both sides, and an in-deck storage locker with a starboard fishbox. Nonskid molded-in surfaces run throughout the finished fiberglass cockpit, while interior surfaces—including the bilge—are smooth gel coat with no raw fiberglass to trap water or debris.
The boat's construction uses Boston Whaler's Unibond system, where liquid structural foam fills the cavity between hull and deck to form a single integrated unit without screws or rivets. Hardware throughout includes solid stainless steel hinges and 316 stainless steel bow rails. All seats and seat bases are composite materials designed to resist rot and require no maintenance.
