The 1998 Cabo 35 Express is a fiberglass sportfisher built for serious offshore fishing. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 turbocharged diesel engines rated at 435 horsepower each, the boat carries 400 gallons of fuel and 100 gallons of fresh water. A Weslertech 7.6 kW generator provides onboard power. The hull features trim tabs that fully recess, and the bottom received two coats of anti-fouling paint in 2025.
The cockpit is equipped for fishing with a 40-gallon bait tank on the port side, a rigging station, two large fish boxes with pump-outs, fresh water and saltwater wash-down systems, and a tackle box station. A fighting chair is mounted on deck. Below, the boat has a head with air conditioning and shower, along with galley appliances including microwave, stove, and refrigerator, plus a television.
The fiberglass hull and gelcoat are in good condition throughout. A heavy-duty DC electric anchor system with rope retrieve is installed. Overall length is 37 feet 6 inches, beam 13 feet, with a draft of 3 feet and displacement of 19,500 pounds.
