The 1998 Formula 41 Performance Cruiser is a fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Cummins 450 diesel engines delivering 900 horsepower total. The cockpit is designed for comfort and visibility, with a large bench seat at the helm, circular seating arrangements, and a transom door opening to an extra-large swim platform. Additional storage is provided by a large locker in the transom. The boat includes a hydraulic engine hatch and a radar arch.
Navigation and onboard systems include radar, GPS, color plotter, two VHF radios, compass, and depth sounder, along with autopilot capability. The electrical system comprises five batteries and a 9-kilowatt genset. Equipment also includes a windlass, bow rails, full enclosure, trim tabs and synchronizers, prop pockets, and two extra propellers. Canvas enclosures are being fabricated.
