This 1998 Fountain 29 Sportfish Cruiser is built on Fountain's deep-V hull and powered by twin Mercury 3.0L V6 engines with counter-rotating Bravo 1 drives. The boat cruises around 30 mph and reaches 60–65 mph on plane, with a documented top speed of 67 mph. It carries 200 gallons of fuel and weighs approximately 5,500 pounds, making it a capable offshore platform with proven range for extended fishing trips.
The engines show low hours with clean condition throughout, no corrosion evident. The boat includes two propeller packages: stainless steel 4-blade Bravo 1 props and Mercury Laser II props. A recently installed vinyl-glass windscreen improves visibility, and Mercury Racing K-planes provide precise trim control and stability underway.
The cockpit features a large fish-fighting layout with integrated fish box, freshwater washdown and sink, and deck misters. Scotty downriggers are newly rigged and ready for use, with Lowrance electronics and Islander fishing gear included. Below, a comfortable cabin offers a V-berth, vanity with sink, ice box, coat locker, and porta potty with convertible table—suitable for overnight trips and coastal cruising.
The boat has been maintained predominantly in freshwater since 1998 and is in excellent overall condition with all systems operational. Service records and recent documentation are included. A fully restored trailer with six electric brakes is also included and can be towed with a half-ton truck.
