The 31 Tournament Edition is a 31-foot center console built by Fountain for serious fishing. Powered by twin 200-horsepower Yamaha engines, the boat achieves speeds over 50 mph fully loaded. Its design combines a notched transom and pad keel hull for stability and control at all speeds, from trolling to bluewater work. The fiberglass hull and deck are hand-laid with multi-directional fiberglass and high-density foam core, laminated together as one unified structure for durability.
The boat is equipped comprehensively for fishing. A 400-quart insulated fish box occupies the center console, paired with a 50-gallon circulating livewell at the transom. Rod holders are positioned throughout, with additional rod storage built into the cabin and under the gunwales. The self-bailing cockpit liner and transom storage boxes with insulation complete the fishing setup. Seven stringers and ten bulkheads are glassed into the hull for structural strength.
Helm and navigation features include a T-top with integrated electronics box and rod holders, full instrumentation, hydraulic steering, and trim tabs. Electronics include Simrad GPS, Lowrance HDS fishfinder, Fusion stereo, and ICom VHF radio. A forward cuddy cabin provides a V-berth, porta potty, fluorescent lighting, and rod storage. The console includes an electronics locker and dry storage with a forward-facing seat. Twin automatic bilge pumps rated at 1,200 GPH, dual battery switches in parallel, and a 204-gallon fuel tank support extended trips.
