1998 Hatteras 52 Sport Deck

The 1998 Hatteras 52 Sport Deck is a fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Detroit Diesel 8V92TA DDEC engines rated at 760 horsepower each. The engines have accumulated approximately 895 hours and are housed in a clean engine room. A 20 kW Onan generator provides auxiliary power. The boat has been operated exclusively in freshwater and kept in covered marinas throughout its history, minimizing corrosion and weather exposure.

The yacht offers three staterooms and three heads, with accommodations enhanced by four separate air conditioning and heating systems including coverage of the aft deck enclosure. A stackable washer and dryer unit supports extended stays aboard. The salon features frameless windows without leaks, contributing to the open feel of the interior spaces.

In July 2020, the hull received an Interlux 2000E epoxy primer and protective barrier coat, followed by Dupont Imron exterior paint that remains in superior condition. The transom incorporates a sturdy design with integrated stairs providing access to an oversized swim platform, facilitating convenient water entry and docking maneuvers.
