1998 Kadey-Krogen 48 North Sea

The Kadey-Krogen 48 North Sea is a classic pilothouse trawler with a full-width hull design and a starboard-side walkway that runs the length of the boat. The single-level main deck flows from a spacious covered cockpit through a full-width salon with office space on the port side and a galley with granite countertops to starboard. A wide passageway leads either up to the expansive pilothouse or forward to the accommodation spaces below.

Below deck, two generous staterooms provide sleeping quarters. The master cabin is positioned forward with an island queen berth and substantial storage and closet space. The second stateroom features a double bed and a single murphy bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements. Two full heads serve the accommodation areas, and the boat includes extensive storage throughout for extended cruising.

The boat is powered by a single 225-horsepower John Deere six-cylinder diesel engine paired with a 1000-gallon fuel capacity for extended range. A Westmar stabilization system provides comfort in varying sea conditions. The 48-foot fiberglass hull is 16 feet in beam, offering the wide platform typical of this design.
