1998 Luhrs 36 Convertible

This 1998 Luhrs 36 Convertible is a twin-diesel offshore fishing boat powered by two Caterpillar 3126 engines rated at 420 horsepower each. The port engine has been rebuilt and fitted with a new transmission. The boat features a flybridge with a rigid Bimini top and new Eisenglass, outriggers, rocket launchers, and a large self-bailing cockpit with washdowns, bait prep station, and livewell. A tuna door and walk-through transom provide convenient access to the water.

Below deck, the interior features a cherry finish throughout and includes a private master stateroom with a separate stall shower. The galley is well-equipped with recent appliances including a new dishwasher, refrigerator, and washer-dryer combination. Air conditioning provides climate control via 16,000 and 7,000 BTU units. A Phasor 8kW generator with approximately 689 hours of runtime supports onboard systems.

Electronics include a newer Raymarine package for navigation and fish-finding. The boat was given a bottom job approximately one year ago. Trim tabs and a 36-foot hull with a 13.83-foot beam round out the package, offering the proportions and layout of a larger vessel in a maneuverable platform.
