The Maxi Dolphin Giro 34 is a 34-foot racing yacht designed by Groupe Finot and built by the Italian shipyard Maxi Dolphin. The boat features a lightweight fiberglass hull engineered for performance, fitted with a water ballast system of two 750-liter tanks that enhance stability without adding weight. A carbon rotating mast and fractional sloop rig complete the racing package, delivering sharp handling and responsive helm characteristics. The design balances competitive performance with practical cruising comfort.
The boat accommodates one head and is equipped with a 18 hp Lombardini diesel engine. Its refined hull lines, generous sail plan, and light-wind capability make it effective across varying conditions. The fractional rig allows excellent maneuverability and control.
In 2017, the mast underwent complete overhaul with standing rigging replacement, and the engine was removed and overhauled alongside a full electrical system upgrade. Navigation lights were inspected and replaced in 2024.
