The Maxum 2800 SCR is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by a single 310-horsepower MerCruiser gasoline engine. Her deep-V hull is engineered for stability and a comfortable ride in varied conditions.
The cabin layout makes efficient use of the full beam, eliminating sidedecks to maximize interior space. Below deck, a double berth forward and aft offer sleeping quarters, while a convertible dinette, compact galley, and enclosed head with standing headroom serve the living areas. Privacy curtains separate the sleeping sections from the main cabin. Elliptical portlights bring natural light and ventilation throughout, and a sliding cap at the molded cabin entry provides easy deck access to the bright interior.
Topside, the cockpit features facing settees aft with a double-wide helm seat. The helm station includes a burl grain instrument panel, VHF radio, depth finder, and Danforth compass. A removable table and built-in cooler are integrated into the lounge area. A radar arch supports integrated lighting and speakers while adding visual function to the deck layout.
The boat is equipped with air conditioning and heating throughout. A Bimini top with full enclosures extends weather protection over the cockpit.
