1998 Navigator 53

This 1998 Navigator 53 is a fiberglass pilothouse yacht measuring 53 feet with a 15-foot beam. Twin Volvo 370 diesel engines deliver power for an 18-knot cruising speed. The boat carries 600 gallons of fuel, 170 gallons of fresh water, and a 70-gallon holding tank.

The accommodation plan includes three cabins and two heads. The master cabin has an ensuite head with shower. The forward cabin features a queen berth and generous storage. The third cabin has twin bunk beds and shares a head with the forward cabin. The galley is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, three-burner cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, and portable ice maker.

The lower helm features dual Garmin GPS units (10-inch and 12-inch displays), autopilot, bow thruster, VHF radio, windlass controls, Bennett trim tabs, and radar. The main salon includes a 39-inch flat-screen television, satellite radio, and wraparound seating. An upper helm station on the flybridge mirrors the lower helm's navigation equipment and also houses new U-shaped seating cushions and a full-size barbecue grill. A davit accommodates a dinghy aft of the upper helm.

Mechanical systems include a 13.5kw Kohler diesel generator, three air-conditioning units installed in 2021, a 40-gallon-per-hour water maker, 50-amp charger, washer and dryer, and a shore power cable retrieval system. The boat was hauled out in July 2023 for bottom paint, zinc replacement, running gear service, and hull compounding and waxing.
