This 1998 Ocean Yachts 48 Express combines serious offshore performance with comfortable cruising accommodations. Twin Caterpillar 3406E diesels producing 800 horsepower each drive the boat to a maximum speed of 35 knots, with a cruising speed of 29 knots. The engines show approximately 4,000 hours of service.

The enclosed helm station sits at a raised centerline position, offering commanding visibility across a broad 16-foot beam. The helm features a comprehensive Garmin electronics suite with dual 16-inch HD displays, HD radar, and fishfinder, along with a Flir night vision camera. Below, the layout comprises a generous salon with L-shaped seating and air conditioning, a well-appointed galley, the master stateroom forward with private head and shower, and a guest stateroom aft with twin beds. Recent work includes new intercoolers and aftercoolers (2023), starboard turbo replacement (2024), port turbo replacement (2020), new 10-kilowatt generator (2022), new battery systems and charger (2023), dual Aqua-Air reverse-cycle heat and air-conditioning units (2018), fresh interior finishes including wallpaper and carpet (2023), new life raft (2024), and a complete new enclosure (2021). The hull received bottom blasting and barrier coat treatment in 2022, and all silicone and toilet hoses were replaced in 2020.
