The 1998 Sea Ray Sundancer 370 is a 37-foot fiberglass express cruiser powered by twin Mercruiser 8.1S Horizon engines of 370 horsepower each. The boat was repowered in 2007 with these larger engines and new transmissions, a significant upgrade from the original 7.4-liter engines. The twin engines deliver 25-knot cruising speed and are supported by a Westerbeke 5KW generator installed in 2007.
Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and one head for overnight accommodation. The helm is equipped with modern electronics including a Raymarine E80 chartplotter, radar, bottom sounder, autopilot, and VHF radio. A newer radar scanner was installed in 2024.
Recent maintenance has been comprehensive. In 2024, the boat received new engine risers and manifolds, fuel pumps, alternators, propeller shafts, shaft seals, cutlass bearings, and bottom paint. Engine service including oil, plugs, and filters was completed. The batteries were replaced with five Group 27 units in 2022. Additional updates include new cockpit carpet and upholstery, a heat exchanger and exhaust manifold for the generator, an icemaker, and various other components refreshed over the past several years. The boat has been kept in a covered slip since 2003.
