1998 Shamrock 246 Walkaround

This 1998 Shamrock 246 Walkaround is a fiberglass fishing boat powered by a single Crusader gasoline engine. At 24 feet long with an 8.5-foot beam, it combines a practical layout with solid offshore capability.

The interior includes a nine-foot cushioned berth, galley with sink and storage, and a portable marine head. The helm console features full instrumentation and a compass, with chart hold-down straps integrated into the cabin door hatch. The deep, roomy cockpit spans the full transom and houses a large fish box, baitwell, and bait prep center. An anchor locker with roller is standard equipment.

The boat rides on Shamrock's SP II drive system, which uses a shallower propshaft angle for quicker planing and improved handling. The hull incorporates a hydrodynamically designed pocket that channels water flow to the prop, enhancing shallow-water performance while maintaining stability in offshore conditions.
