This 1998 Viking 53 Convertible is a fiberglass hull powered by twin MAN diesel engines producing 2,400 hp combined. The boat has been stored indoors since new and maintained by a single owner throughout its life. The engines recently completed a 2,000-hour service performed by a MAN-certified facility.
The interior offers conventional three-stateroom, two-head accommodations. The salon features an L-shaped settee to port with storage, a wet bar to starboard, and entertainment cabinetry housing the electrical panels. Forward is a large L-shaped dinette with an overhead LCD television and microwave. The master stateroom amidships to starboard includes a walk-around queen berth, cedar-lined closet, vanity, and an en suite head with shower and Corian countertop. The VIP forward has a raised centerline berth, cedar-lined closets, double-door hanging storage, a 13-inch television, and access to a shared guest head. The guest stateroom across from the master includes upper and lower bunks with cedar storage and drawers. A washer and dryer are located in the VIP stateroom's laundry locker. The galley forward to port features a full refrigerator-freezer, Corian countertops with integrated sink, two-burner cooktop, and substantial cabinet and pantry storage.
Both heads are equipped with VacuFlush systems and holding tanks. Throughout the interior, accommodations include multiple televisions, adequate cabinetry, and numerous storage options. Hunter Douglas window treatments are installed in the salon.
