This 1998 Wellcraft 302 Scarab Sport is a 29-foot fiberglass cruiser built with substantial construction throughout. The hull and deck are bonded fiberglass, strakes are microballoon-filled for added strength, and the stringer system features foam-filled, glass-encapsulated box sections with integral stress distribution pads. All deck hardware is stainless steel and through-bolted. Power comes from twin Mercury 250 hp 4-stroke V8 engines installed in 2022, backed by a warranty extending to May 2027.
The boat was comprehensively updated in 2022 with new electronics including Garmin dual-screen GPS, a Plotter MAP8610, Radar, and a Fusion entertainment center. A VHF radio, hard top with rocket launchers, and extensive storage are also aboard. The cabin layout includes a V-berth, self-contained head, 12-volt lighting, and numerous lockers suited for fishing gear storage.
The boat is rigged and equipped specifically for fishing, with ample room in the cabin and dedicated storage throughout for tackle and equipment.
