The 1999 Beneteau Oceanis 321 is a 32-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built on proven design principles. The hull features Beneteau's Water Shield technology between the gelcoat and laminate to resist porosity, with reinforced inner molding for rigidity and stress resistance. The design delivers efficient performance across all points of sail, aided by a long waterline, plumb bow, bulb keel with wings, and skeg-protected rudder that provide stability and shallow draft while maintaining responsive handling.
The deck is generously laid out with a large T-shaped cockpit, numerous portholes and hatches for ventilation, and simplified handling with all lines led back to jammers. The boat carries quality winches and equipment including a rigid vang, furling genoa, wheel steering, and an opening transom with swim platform. A single Yanmar 34M-30 diesel engine of 28 horsepower provides auxiliary power.
Below deck, the interior distributes space thoughtfully across the salon, galley, forward cabin, and aft cabins, finished in varnished cherry woodwork. Portholes throughout the saloon and cabins allow natural light and air circulation. Recent upgrades include new instrumentation at the helm and a new head. The boat has been maintained at a boatyard north of Boston.
