The 1999 Boston Whaler Outrage 23 is a center console designed around serious fishing. Its fiberglass hull uses Accutrait hull technology and Unibond construction to deliver a smooth ride, while the extra-deep cockpit and stainless-steel toe rails provide security and safety in rougher conditions. A full 360-degree walk-around console gives anglers easy access around the boat, and the design is light enough to trailer.
The fishing setup centers on in-deck insulated fish boxes, an outboard live well positioned to preserve cockpit space, under-gunnel rod racks, and four rod holders. A raw water washdown system helps keep the boat clean between trips. The console houses a private head compartment with porta potty, and an integrated swim platform with telescoping ladder sits at the transom.
Comfort features include a bimini top and Sony stereo with cockpit speakers. Navigation and communication equipment comprise a 12-inch Garmin Chart plotter and VHF radio. The single 250 horsepower Evinrude E-TEC engine was installed in 2013. Recent refits include new bolsters in 2022 and a bimini top in 2021. Trim tabs aid handling, and a transom door simplifies deck access. A dual-axle trailer is included.
