The 404 Carver is a 43-foot sedan-bridge motor yacht built in fiberglass, powered by twin 5.9 BT-M Cummins diesel engines rated at 220 horsepower each with 1,170 hours on the engines. The boat sleeps eight with a well-planned interior layout and generous storage throughout. Direct access from the cockpit to the aft stateroom via sliding glass doors simplifies provisioning, while the expansive cockpit serves equally well for fishing, diving, or relaxation. The command bridge seats six and includes a sliding pilot seat, map locker, forward bridge lounge, and additional storage.
The flybridge features a helm station with DC electrical arrays, Morris controls, and an electric anchor winch. A stainless steel bimini frame with canvas canopy and new windows was installed in September 2022. The deck includes a Maxwell electric anchor windlass, 15-kilogram claw anchor, and 50 feet each of rode and chain. A Seawise electric davit system with boarding ladder handles tender operations.
Accommodation includes a galley with three-burner propane stove, AC/DC refrigerator-freezer, and diesel forced-air heating. Two manual Jabsco heads serve the interior. Tankage comprises 318 gallons fuel, 81 gallons fresh water, 36 gallons hot water, and a 10-gallon holding tank. Electronics include Garmin depth sounder and GPS, radar, plotter, Ritchie compass, and dual VHF radios. The entertainment system features a Kenwood CD player with speakers throughout the saloon, aft stateroom, and bridge.
The hull was last hauled out in October 2023 with bottom paint applied, and new zincs were fitted in 2025 with a bottom cleaning completed. Oil and transmission analysis records are available.
