1999 Formula 400 Super Sport

This 1999 Formula 400 Super Sport is a 40-foot express cruiser with a twin stepped hull and fiberglass construction. The boat has been comprehensively re-powered and re-fitted. It runs on quad 350 Mercury Verado engines flashed to 450 horsepower each, totaling 1800 hp, delivering a top speed of 79 mph and cruising speed of 55 mph. An 11-foot beam provides a stable platform for both performance and comfort.

Below deck, the yacht offers two cabins and one head. The galley includes a single electric stove top. The head features a vacu-flush pump-out toilet and a stand-up wet shower. A Kohler 7.3 kW generator with 494 hours supports onboard systems, while a 16 BTU air and heat unit maintains climate control. Navigation and communication equipment includes a Garmin 8616 XSV 16-inch display with current warranty, Vessel View 903 system, and Cobra Marine VHF radio.

The interior has been extensively refreshed with new custom flooring throughout from the swimstep and cockpit to the cabin below. New cockpit upholstery includes a driver bolster seat. A Fusion stereo system provides entertainment. Additional features include a factory-installed vacuum system in the main cabin, windlass, and spotlight. The hull was recently repainted in gunmetal grey with matte finish, and new mercury throttle controls were installed.

The boat is stored out of the water and has been professionally maintained. A custom-built trailer is available separately.
