1999 Glacier Bay 220 Center Console
About This Yacht
The 1999 Glacier Bay 220 is a fiberglass catamaran built around a twin-sponson hull design that handles rough water with minimal impact. The twin sponsons allow waves to roll alongside the hulls rather than striking the bow directly, reducing pounding and spray typical of conventional V-bottom boats. This design also generates roughly 40 percent more usable deck space than comparable single-hull boats of similar size.
The 22-foot yacht has a center console layout with a starboard compartment measuring over 6 feet long, 3 feet 3 inches deep, and 1 foot 8 inches wide. A head is integrated into one of the sponsons with 4 feet 3 inches of headroom. The boat features a large wind screen and ergonomic console design with Yamaha controls already installed.
The hull rides on an aluminum drive-on trailer. The boat comes without engines but includes Yamaha controls and is ready for outboard installation.
