1999 Hatteras 52 Sport Deck Motor Yacht

The Hatteras 52 Sport Deck is a diesel-powered motor yacht featuring a reverse transom design that opens to a generous aft deck for entertaining. Twin Caterpillar 3406E engines deliver 1,600 horsepower combined, with cruising speed around 15 knots and a maximum speed near 23 knots. The fiberglass hull spans 52 feet with a 16-foot beam.

The interior layout comprises two staterooms and two heads. The master stateroom features a queen berth with full walkaround access, while forward accommodations include an additional queen berth and a midship bunk room. A fully-equipped galley and spacious salon serve as the main gathering spaces. Molded steps lead down to an aft platform for water access.

Recent work completed in 2024 includes a full Caterpillar 1000-hour service and replacement of the after cooler. The exterior received fresh paint and bottom treatment. Interior updates encompass new stainless steel appliances, smart televisions in all staterooms and salon, isinglass enclosures, and refreshed upholstery and wall finishes. New galley plumbing fixtures were installed, and hydraulic aft deck sofas with a convertible coffee table were added to complement the salon seating.

The power and systems have been substantially upgraded. The boat carries dual 48-volt lithium battery banks totaling over 5 kilowatts, supported by 1,200 watts of solar panels, a Victron 5,000-watt inverter, and a Victron CERVO GX hub with Wi-Fi connectivity. Additional equipment includes a fuel polishing system, water maker, Garmin chartplotter with engine integration, and a Fusion stereo system with zones for the bridge, aft deck, and foredeck.
