The 1999 Heritage East Sundeck 36 is a single-engine sedan bridge yacht built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a Cummins 5.9 turbo diesel engine rated at 210 horsepower. The boat's beam of 12.5 feet and overall length of 36 feet make it compact enough to fit a 35-foot berth while maintaining comfortable proportions for coastal cruising.
The interior features a two-stateroom layout with a master cabin aft that includes a walk-around berth and ensuite head. A second head with shower serves the forward stateroom. The salon is lined with large windows and finished in teak and holly. The galley is fully equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, and storage. A generous sundeck provides space for entertaining or relaxing, and dual helm stations allow operation from either the salon or the open-air flybridge.
Recent work completed since November 2024 includes installation of a Garmin 943xsv chart plotter with radar dome, new water pump, inverter, battery charger, and alternator. The saltwater cooling system was flushed with descaler, and engine maintenance included fuel filter replacement, serpentine belt replacement, and new engine zincs. The sundeck and flybridge received new Makrolon enclosures, new helm cover, and new canvas window covers. A Starlink satellite dish and outboard motor davit were installed, and a 9.8 horsepower Tohatsu outboard motor was recently serviced.
Earlier work addressed the heat exchanger, transmission oil leak, motor mounts, propane valve, holding tank y-valve, bilge pump connections, and various system installations including CO2 detectors and battery straps.
