The Island Packet 320 is a proven cruising design built around a full-keel hull and protected rudder, offering directional stability and seaworthiness for both coastal and offshore sailing. This 1999 model carries a cutter rig with in-mast furling mainsail, self-tending staysail, and jib, configured for easy single-handed operation. The mast height is 48 feet 1 inch.
The interior features Island Packet's handcrafted joinery throughout. The layout includes a forward stateroom with a full-sized pullman berth, a spacious galley, and a head. Natural light fills the cabin spaces, and the accommodation is comfortable for extended cruising or liveaboard use.
The diesel engine is a Yanmar 3GM30F with 1,522 hours on the hour meter. A Balmar high-output alternator, 16,000 BTU air conditioning, Webasto central diesel heater, and updated 12V refrigeration support extended time away from shore. Electronics have been updated to Raymarine, including chartplotter, autopilot, and wind and depth instruments. The stainless steel chainplates are 316L, installed as standard on Island Packets from 1998 onward.
