1999 Navigator 5800

The 1999 Navigator 5800 is a pilothouse cruiser built on a solid fiberglass hull with a generous 17-foot-4-inch beam. Twin Detroit 6-71 TI diesel engines produce 485 horsepower each, delivering a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 18 knots. The boat features an 18.5 kilowatt Kohler generator, a Vetus bow thruster, and four air-conditioning units for climate control throughout.

The layout centers on three staterooms below deck, anchored by a full-beam master suite with a king walk-around bed and private salon access. Forward sits a VIP stateroom with a queen island berth, while a second guest cabin offers over-under bunks; both guest staterooms share a single head with separate shower. The full-beam salon features high-gloss maple woodwork and deep pile carpet, with an L-shaped sofa and built-in entertainment area. Above, the pilothouse galley level combines the cooking area, dining settee, and lower helm station, keeping the galley separate from the main social spaces.

Recent updates include new carpet in the salon (2018), reupholstered sofa (2020), and reupholstered dining settee (2019). The galley received a convection microwave (2018) and a full-size side-by-side Whirlpool refrigerator (2020). Entertainment equipment added in 2018 comprises a 46-inch Samsung smart television in the main salon, dual 12-inch Samsung televisions in the staterooms, an Intellian satellite system, and a Brennan Bluetooth amplifier. Navigation includes upper and lower helm stations, a 12-inch Raymarine chart plotter and 3-D transducer (2019), Raymarine autopilot (2018), VHF radio (2018), and Datatrac depth sounder. Deck equipment includes a Muir windlass with 65-pound plow anchor, 60 feet of chain, and 300 feet of rode, plus a Brower davit. Additional features encompass washer-dryer, lazarette storage, and a water maker.
