Kayla Rose is a Northern Bay 36 downeast boat built on a fiberglass hull. The boat was constructed from a bare hull sourced from Down East Boats & Composites and professionally finished by West Bay Boats in Steuben, Maine. The design draws from the classic Wilbur 34, bringing traditional downeast proportions and seaworthiness to the 40-foot hull.

The boat is powered by a Volvo engine and features a 13-foot beam. The downeast profile and construction quality reflect the builder's attention to a design lineage proven in working and cruising waters.
