2006 Mast & Mallet Thomas Point 40

The Thomas Point 40 represents Mast & Mallet's synthesis of two classic designs—the New England lobster boat and Chesapeake deadrise—resulting in a 40-foot downeast yacht with purposeful, elegant lines. Built in composite, she's powered by a single Cummins diesel engine producing 490 horsepower and measures 13 feet 6 inches across the beam.

The interior prioritizes comfort and light, with generous ventilation throughout. Teak and holly cabin soles and teak accents contribute to the yacht's traditional character while the protected helm station offers practical weather protection for extended operation. The layout suits varied pursuits—cruising, fishing, and entertaining—without compromise.

Equipment includes a generator, bow thruster, and Starlink connectivity. The yacht is outfitted with a Mercury dinghy and 9.9-horsepower Mercury outboard engine mounted on davits. The bottom was sanded and painted in April 2025.
