This 1999 Ocean Alexander 460 is a fiberglass trawler built for extended cruising with comfortable coastal accommodations. The boat features two cabins and two heads, with a notably spacious aft cabin containing a pedestal queen bed fitted with a custom mattress installed in 2020. The main salon is open and bright, providing comfortable living space underway or at anchor.
Power comes from twin Cummins 6BTA 5.9 M3 diesel engines rated at 370 horsepower each. The boat is equipped with a Northern Lights 8-kilowatt generator and includes a bow thruster for maneuvering. Navigation and control systems include Raymarine Evolution autopilot, active AIS transceiver, radar, and forward-looking sonar. Entertainment systems feature satellite TV via Intellian dish, 4K LED television installed in 2021, and a Fusion stereo.
A covered sundeck with a four-drawer freezer sits above the aft cabin, while dimmable LED ceiling lighting runs throughout. The boat has separate AC and heat systems forward, in the salon, and aft. The swim platform is fixed and constructed from Gatorstep decking, as are the fore, side, and aft decks—all replaced in 2021. Complete instrumentation was upgraded in 2022.
Recent service work was completed in May 2025 on steering cables, bottom paint, through-hulls, and the swim platform. Note that the Naiad active roll stabilizers and stern thruster are not currently operational.
