1999 Ocean Yachts 48 Super Sport

This 1999 Ocean Yachts 48 Super Sport is a composite-hulled sportfisher built with a Deep Vee design for stability in varied conditions. Twin Caterpillar 3196 diesel engines rated at 660 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots, with a range of approximately 400 miles.

The boat carries a range of upgrades and mechanical work. The aftercoolers have been replaced, and the transmission was rebuilt with new coolers installed. An electric windlass aids anchoring operations. Additional systems include a water maker, generator with sound shield, inverter, Raymarine electronics, and LED bow lighting. The cabin features wood flooring, a flat-screen television, and a washer and dryer located in a hallway closet. A davit is mounted on the bow.

Routine maintenance has been performed annually, including oil changes. The 48 Super Sport combines fishing capability with comfortable accommodations for extended time on the water.
