1999 Ocean Yachts 60 Super Sport

This 1999 Ocean Yachts 60 Super Sport is a 60-foot sportfish built on a fiberglass hull. Twin Caterpillar 3412 turbocharged diesel engines produce 1,350 horsepower each, delivering a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top speed of 40 knots. The engines received new computers and control panels during a prior upgrade when they had accumulated 2,400 hours. Fuel capacity stands at 1,250 gallons, with 300 gallons of fresh water storage and a 60-gallon holding tank.

The boat is arranged with three staterooms and three heads. Below deck accommodations support extended cruising and fishing operations. A bow thruster assists with close-quarters maneuvering, and the deck layout includes triple spreader outriggers, a center rigger, and teaser lines configured for blue water fishing.

Electronics are comprehensive, featuring an open array radar with a six-foot antenna, two 12-inch Ray Marine multipurpose screens with chart plotting, GPS, fish finding, and radar integration. Power generation comes from two Northern Lights generators—one 20 kilowatt and one 16 kilowatt unit. The boat carries a tender and a six-man life raft.
