1999 Sea Ray 280 Sun Sport

This 1999 Sea Ray 280 Sun Sport is a 28-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single Mercury 7.4 gasoline engine. The boat has been operated exclusively in freshwater since new and carries 864 original engine hours. Recent work completed in fall 2025 included replacement of the bellows, cable shift assembly, impeller, aft bilge pump, and fuel filter, along with installation of a new Bravo III lower unit.

The cabin and cockpit layout centers on comfort and practicality. The galley is outfitted with a refrigerator, freezer, and microwave. The cockpit provides generous seating and storage throughout, while an entertainment center and enclosed head add convenience for cruising and day use.

Navigation and communication equipment includes a VHF radio and compass. The design emphasizes the flexibility typical of the Sun Sport line, with ample deck space and a layout suited to both entertaining and extended outings.
