1999 Sea Ray 290 Sundancer

The 1999 Sea Ray 290 Sundancer is a fiberglass cruiser built around twin 5.0L MerCruiser gas engines. It offers a spacious layout well-suited to weekend trips, entertaining, and longer time aboard, with the classic Sea Ray styling of its era combined with a series of thoughtful updates.

Recent improvements span both the helm and cabin. A Raymarine Axiom+ RV multifunction display and Quantum 2 Doppler Chirp Radar Dome were installed in 2022, paired with a Standard Horizon GX2400 VHF added in 2023. Entertainment includes a cabin TV and Fusion MS RA70NSX stereo, both from 2022 and 2023 respectively. The aft sun lounge received new cushions in 2023.

Canvas work was completed in 2023 with full Sunbrella replacement including hatch covers, aft sunshade, and instrument cover. The cockpit floor was covered with Infiniti material in 2024. The boat has operated in freshwater only and receives annual engine maintenance including winterization and shrink wrap storage.
