1999 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge

The 1999 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge is a 40-foot flybridge sedan powered by twin Cummins 6CTA 8.3 diesel engines producing 430 hp each. Built to original owner specifications and maintained in a covered freshwater slip throughout its life, the boat cruises at 18 knots with a maximum speed of 26 knots. Equipment includes a bow thruster, extended platform, electric windlass, hydraulic trim tabs, and hydraulic steering. The electrical system comprises an 8.0 kW Westerbeke diesel generator, 3000-watt inverter, and comprehensive battery bank.

The interior layout features two staterooms forward and two heads, each with separate stall showers. The galley is fully equipped for meal preparation with a three-burner electric stovetop, AC/DC refrigerator, microwave, and solid-surface counters. The main salon has a motorized convertible sofa to port, a second sofa to starboard, and a raised dinette with views. Cherry wood cabinets and finishes line the interior, with vinyl woven flooring throughout. A sliding glass door opens to the spacious aft cockpit, and molded steps lead to the flybridge with its U-shaped seating arrangement and full canvas enclosure with isinglass.

The flybridge helm station includes three swivel captain chairs, a Garmin 24XD chartplotter with radar and autopilot, Garmin AIS VHF radio, and color backup camera. Controls for the bow thruster, engine synchronizer, trim tabs, and electric windlass are positioned at the helm. Additional features include dual air conditioning and heating units, central vacuum, cedar-lined hanging lockers with automatic lighting, and Samsung 32-inch televisions in the salon and master stateroom.

Recent maintenance includes engine overhauls completed in 2017, with 1525 hours on the engines. All interior and exterior upholstery has been renewed along with the full flybridge canvas and isinglass enclosure. A 2005 Zodiac 10.5-foot inflatable tender with Mercury 15 hp outboard is included.
