This 40-foot Sea Ray Express Cruiser, with an actual hull length closer to 45 feet, is powered by twin 454 Merc Horizon EFI engines totaling 908 horsepower. The boat runs at a cruising speed of 28 knots with a maximum speed of 32 knots and has logged 813 to 875 hours. The engines have been maintained with annual oil changes and impeller service every two years, and both are reported in clean condition. The fiberglass hull has been used exclusively in fresh water.

Below deck, the accommodations sleep up to six people across three sleeping areas: a master stateroom with a queen bed and door separation, a side cabin with bunk beds, and a convertible sofa with filler cushions that doubles as additional sleeping space. Two air-conditioning units provide cooling throughout. The galley features a newer full-sized refrigerator.

Topside, a large cockpit offers substantial seating and protection during less favorable weather, including a spacious U-shaped lounge. The camper canvas canopy is two years old and includes screens; it raises and lowers easily. The boat handles rough water well and performs predictably at speed, reaching planing attitude almost immediately.

Most systems and equipment function as designed. Two air-conditioning units, the refrigerator, and other amenities are in working order.
