1999 Sea Ray Sundancer 400

This 1999 Sea Ray Sundancer 400 is a 40-foot express cruiser built for extended cruising in fresh water. Twin Mercruiser 7.4L engines produce 380 horsepower each, delivering a maximum speed of 30 knots and cruising efficiency at 25 knots. A 7.0 kW Westerbeke generator supports the boat's electrical systems, and trim tabs aid in handling and comfort at speed.

The interior centers on a three-cabin layout with a forward stateroom featuring a queen bed, a mid-cabin with queen berth, and guest quarters. Two heads serve the accommodations—one forward with vacuflush toilet and separate shower, the other in the mid-cabin. The galley is equipped with a three-burner electric range, microwave, coffee maker, and ample storage. Two televisions and a Clarion stereo system with Fusion amplifier and Focal speakers provide entertainment. Climate control comes from two separate AC and heat systems.

Mechanical systems include radar, VHF radio, a tri-data gauge with depth sounder, an anchor windlass, water heater, and automatic fire suppression in the engine room. Navigation and convenience features span a compass, radar arch, and transom shower with hot and cold water. The large swim platform, foredeck sunpad, and wet bar enhance the outdoor living spaces.

Recent maintenance in November 2025 included oil changes on both engines, new impellers, and replacement batteries. A new battery charger was also installed. The boat comes with a bimini top, cockpit cover, and camper enclosure canvas.
