1999 Sport-Craft 272 Sport fisher

This 27-foot Sport-Craft 272 sportfisher is built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a custom Mercury 454-cubic-inch engine producing 425 horsepower. The boat cruises at 28 mph at 3400 rpm and features a direct-drive setup with a new driveshaft and nibrel propeller. A rebuilt Velvet Drive transmission and new strut support the powertrain. The engine was installed alongside complete rewiring and replacement of all stringers.

The hardtop provides weather protection and covers a modest cabin below with a berth and private head, along with abundant storage space. Topside, a 4-foot custom swim platform with aluminum dive ladder, bimini extension for shade, and rod holders suit fishing operations. Equipment includes a full Garmin GPS and fish finder, integrated bait tank, VHF radio, windlass, and a 110-gallon fuel tank. A trailer is included.

The boat underwent a substantial refit in 2020, with over $27,000 invested in upgrades and improvements across the engine, drive systems, and structural components.
