1999 Technologie Marine Entincelle 60

This 1999 Technologie Marine Entincelle 60 is a carbon-epoxy composite catamaran built for blue-water performance. Hull #3 of a six-boat series, the boat was designed with a distinctive long, narrow platform and minimal bridge-deck footprint to keep weight under 20,000 pounds and reduce hobby-horsing in rough conditions. The centerpiece is a rotating carbon wing mast with textile standing rigging (replaced in 2016) and a carbon fiber Park Avenue boom. Sails include a carbon-composite mainsail, carbon-composite self-tacking jib, a 2022 gennaker, and two spinnakers.

The wide decks feature carbon composite dagger-boards, long trampoline, and exceptional bridge-deck clearance of 95 centimeters. The low-profile coach roof allows excellent access to the boom and mainsail systems. Inside, the salon offers 1.95 meters of headroom. Two rear tiller steering stations are outfitted with Raymarine wind instruments and autopilot repeaters.

Accommodation includes four cabins and two heads. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 108 hp each power the yacht. A Raymarine suite and other onboard systems are maintained throughout. The boat carries a 14-foot RIB dinghy with a 40 hp Yamaha outboard engine and is equipped with two 380-watt solar panels mounted on an elegant carbon fiber frame. The design and construction support extended ocean passages, with the boat regularly sailing 2,000 to 4,000 miles annually.
